Dr. Jennifer Walden has been around medicine her whole life. Her dad was a dentist and her mom a surgical nurse, so it is no wonder that Dr. Walden went into the medical field. She is from Austin, Texas which is where she resides now, but after high school she went off to college at University of Texas earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then applied for medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch, but was waitlisted. This didn’t stop her though and she ended up getting in and graduating with her doctorate as salutatorian of her class.
Once done with school Dr, Jennifer Walden got a fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat hospital. Here she worked in the aesthetic surgery department. After finishing the fellowship she stayed there for an additional seven and a half years. Then the birth of her twin sons came. She decided to move back home to Austin, Texas where she opened her own practice. Here own practice was started in 2011 and then expanded in 2014. She continues to see success today with her Walden Cosmetic Surgery center. She has even been a spokeswomen for ASAPS in a daily mailer article about labiaplasty.
Dr. Jennifer Walden has been extra successful in using technology to help 3-D model what the client will look like after the surgery, before it is done. She has also developed ThermiVa which is used for vaginal tightening and rejuvenation treatment. She has also developed instruments for breast surgery and serves as a consultant for aesthetic surgery.
Plastic surgery just isn’t for the vain people who aren’t happy with their body. It can be used for people that have had burn injuries and also breast removal. Dr. Jennifer Walden is advancing plastic surgery technology to make it safer, so people that need reconstructive surgery are able to get it. Safety is important and with the advances Dr. Walden has made, plastic surgery is safer today and can provide so many more treatments, than it ever could in the past.
